Colossians 3:17 “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him”.
I am a servant of the Church of Jesus Christ, and I am happy, and so is every Christian. The church is for all who believe in Jesus Christ. I do all that I do for the sake of Jesus Christ, as He Himself and my fellow Christians have commanded. Working for the church means serving all good things in words and deeds for Christians. That is why God has chosen us to serve and bear good fruit. Hebrews 10:24 “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works”.
Then do you feel ashamed or proud to be a Church employee? The answer is no, and it would be more blessed by God who promises a little for his children, that He will do more for them. Matthew 10:42 “And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.”
There are those who abuse or misrepresent the meaning of church service and those who work for the church. These are the ones who use Satan to work the church and never become strong and unified. These people are known by their fruits, and they are chasing after evil and falsehood by those who serve God. They do not work for the church and do not want the church to function and its people are united in unity, peace and love. Exodus 23: 1 “Thou shalt not take up a false report: put not thy hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness”. It is better to stay away from such people and pray for their evil end.
Brother, do not listen to those who are offending you for good work in the Church, for you are part of the church. If a person does not work for the Church he works to destroy it. In order for the church to function and work well, we must do everything good as we are to God. Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
