The gift of righteousness and eternal life

2 Corinthians 5:21 “God made him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in him.”

Sin is something that humans are born into and are inherited from our being as descendants of Adam. So can anyone deny that he is not mistaken? No, we are all gone. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”. We know that there is only one human being in the world who has never sinned, and that is Jesus Christ, who came with God’s plan to take away sin and Himself to take on the cross. 1 Peter 2:22 “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth”. It is therefore good to understand that a sinner cannot bear the sins of another, but God is able to do so. Sin to come and do evil is caused by the devil who uses that person to deceive God. God sent us to Christ to take away our sins so that we can have a right relationship with Him.

So the question is, why do we still sin if Christ has crucified our sins? We are still sinful, because we are humans born in sin Psalm 51: 5 “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity; And in sin did my mother conceive me.” But the good news is that those who believe in Christ have no power or fear. If they accidentally go wrong, they believe it is true that their Savior (Christ) is alive and His blood is always wiped and cleansed. 1 John 1: 7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin”.

Brethren, Adam came with sin and death, so all men sin and die. But Jesus Christ came with life and righteousness. Therefore he that believeth on Christ shall live by righteousness for ever. Romans 5:18 “Wherefore, as by one man sin did come unto all men, so also through one act of righteousness, to all men, to justification, and to live”.
If you want to receive the gift of righteousness and eternal life, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only one who can be saved in this world and in the next.
