2 Timothy 2:16 “But shun profane babblings: for they will proceed further in ungodliness”,
We have friends and people we often talk to in private places, talking about different things about the world and other situations. When believers meet, they begin to pray for God to be at the center of their conversation. Proverbs 3: 6 “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
If they do so, it is sure that these statements are far from meeting the vain and we are concerned, there are some rumors, lies, fraud, obstruction etc. They have accepted their meeting to be led by God, and their discussions become more acceptable to God, and they gain more strength and ability to meet again. Isa 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall run, and not faint; they shall walk and not faint”.
Brethren, when we meet, let us not waste our time in vain in the sight of God, let us be faithful to God, who always speaks and works in a way that pleases Him. Philippians 4: 7 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Amen.
