Proverbs 30: 5 “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, But joy cometh in the morning”.
You can know God is good when you look at yourself and reflect on your life. Who you are and everything you have is a gift to you, not something you have earned or deserved to receive, but the goodness and wealth of it. God is not a God of His people, but He always loves His people, but He hates evil. Matthew 5:45 “that ye may be the children of your Father in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”
Christians often speak of the goodness and love of God, while others often speak of the wrath and punishment of their God. God’s anger is so small, that He does not like the punishment of His human creation. But he wants all to be saved and come to know the truth. Then they can understand his love. Psalms 145: 8 “The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy”. Therefore, it is proper for us to talk more about how good, compassionate, and loving God is for His people. This causes people to accept God and satisfy their hearts with His goodness so that they can always expect Him from all the good things they need in life.
Brothers, telling people of God’s goodness, patience, and forbearance causes people to return to God and worship Him for who He is. Those who speak the good things of God receive so much good from God. We know that the person we love is always talking about his or her goodness so that other people can enjoy and desire to know that person. Therefore, it is not good to always speak of our God of graciousness, grace and love as he is good, his generosity and his infinite riches. Romans 2: 4 “Or do you despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and patience? Do you not know that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” May the Lord bless you.
